Calgary to Norquay

Norquay is Calgary’s closest Banff ski resort—112 km (69 miles) from the city limits.

  • Drive west on Highway 1 (Trans-Canada)
  • Take the second Banff exit
  • Turn right onto Mt. Norquay Road

You’ll be skiing, riding, or climbing within the hour.

Banff/Canmore to Norquay

Just 6km (3.7 miles) from downtown Banff, via Mt Norquay Access Road.

Canmore

Just 25km (40 miles) west via Trans-Canada Highway #1.

Leave your car at the Banff Train Station and take our free shuttle to Norquay.

You can also park at Norquay and shuttle back to Banff, just keep an eye on the last return shuttle.

FREE 9-hour parking is available at the Banff Train Station public parking lot.

Pay parking is 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, year-round. Free parking for remaining hours. It costs $6/hour in summer (May 1 – Oct. 31); $5/hour in winter in the downtown core.
